WELCOME TO NEBRASKA YOUTH RUGBY!!

Nebraska Youth Rugby Association is a non-profit organization that governs age-grade rugby in the state of Nebraska. We are charged with organizing, managing, and promoting the sport of rugby throughout the area. This is an exciting year for us as we have recently reorganized our governance structure under a newly confirmed Board of Directors who is very dedicated.

This year also brings much continued growth. There are 10-12 expected teams in the boys and girl’s high school divisions as well as multiple NEW Rookie Rugby sites throughout the state. We also will be starting our Youth TRY League. This will be a festival style league that gives kids ages 8-13 the opportunity to play flag rugby on four occasions after high school matches.

Finally this year we want to try and emphasize the rugby community as a whole by providing numerous opportunities to all members at any level of the game. By hosting cookouts, festivals, and tournaments, we hope to better connect all involved in this great sport.  


We all look forward to a great season in 2011!!!

As coaches, parent, fans, and players get ready for another great year of rugby in Nebraska, please take a look at the website. If there are any changes needed, email the updates to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

On February 25th, 2012, the online registration system will be open for players to register. This year, we will be registering online and each player then will need to give their coach their signed clearance. Payment will be made online with a credit card or by check or money order to your coach. We will not be accepting cash, at all, this year. The upcoming season's schedule will be posted soon with the games schedule, social hosts, special events, and tournaments listed.

We wish everyone a great season and know that with the dedication of the players and support from parents, fans and coaches, 2012 will be a great year for rugby in Nebraska!!
